Tuition, Fees, Tuition Assistance and Financial Policies

2027-2028 School Year

Tuition

First Student: $19,995

Sibling(s): $19,395

Tuition Payment Method

Tuition must be paid by choosing one of the following payment plans: 1. Annual Payment: via FACTS, due by July 1st.

2. Semi-annual payments: via FACTS, 1st by July 1st and 2nd by January 1st.  3. Quarterly Payments: via FACTS, payments due July, October, January, and April. 4. Monthly Payments: via FACTS, 10 or 11 months.

Starting in either May/June for 11 months or June/July for 10 months.

Tuition Refund Plan

The Tuition Refund Plan, administered by A.W.G. Dewar, Inc., is required for families that select any of the Multi-Payment Plan options in FACTS. Tuition is not refundable for withdrawals or dismissals before the end of the school year. A signed contract is the parents' agreement to assume full responsibility for the full annual tuition fees. If you select the Annual Payment plan option, the Tuition Refund Plan is optional.  Please note there are no tuition refunds. If you are an annual payer, you might consider the  Tuition Refund Plan if there’s a possibility that your student will need to withdraw.

FACTS Management Company

All families must affiliate with FACTS Management Company. FACTS provides for ACH account drafts from either a checking or savings account. Your FACTS Agreement is set up when you register.

Late Fee

A $100 late fee will be assessed for each late tuition payment per month. We will charge the late fee directly to your FACTS account.

Fees

Registration Fee:

  • $700.00 New students
  • $700.00 Returning students after February 1st
  • $500.00 Returning students if paid by January 31st
  • $800.00 Returning students after April 1st

This non-refundable fee is charged to every student each year, including employees' students. The fee reserves space for the student and helps cover a portion of the cost of processing the student’s registration.

Graduation Fee: $350

Due at registration and charged only to Seniors, this fee helps cover a portion of the cost of announcements, regalia, Baccalaureate Mass, and Commencement.

Tech Fee: $400.00

The Technology Fee is due at Walk-through Registration. The school will provide an iPad and technology services. The fee covers iPad rental, minimal technology services (hardware and software), and use of loaner iPads.

All students are required to participate in the school iPad program, so if you are new to the school, do not purchase an iPad for school use.

The school provides transportation to and from school at the following rates:

Tuition Assistance

SPSV provides Tuition Assistance for families who qualify. Tuition Assistance allows the school to assist students who might otherwise be unable to attend. To qualify for assistance, a family must demonstrate need. To be considered for assistance, a family must apply to FACTS Grant and Aid, which assesses the application and advises the school. Though total financial need always exceeds the school’s resources, the school helps as many families as possible. Families must reapply each year, beginning October 1. Families are encouraged to apply as early as possible to receive assistance.

Full and Timely Payment of Tuition and Fees

SPSV is self-sufficient. Tuition Assistance is reserved for families that demonstrate need. The School relies solely on tuition, fees, fundraisers, and donations. Tuition and fees account for roughly 95% of the School’s income, so fundraisers, the Annual Appeal,  and other donations subsidize nearly 5% of the cost of educating our students. Also, except for a very modest assessment to offset the costs to the Diocese for providing valuable support services to the School, all the School’s income remains with the School to fund its educational mission. Operating the School is financially demanding. Faculty and staff include more than 50 full-time positions and several part-time positions. Our 43 acres of land include numerous athletic facilities and 43,000 square feet of classrooms, labs, offices, a library, and related facilities, most of which are over 44 years old.

The School relies on financial support from parents, alumni, and friends to provide the quality education it has proudly provided for thousands of students for roughly 150 years. Because the School relies so heavily on tuition and fees, we must insist that all families meet their financial commitments to the SPSV on time. Student accounts must be current before students may take semester exams.  SPSV thanks you for your continuing support.
