Comprehensive Counseling Program

Our Comprehensive Counseling Program supports the academic, personal, social, college, and career development of every student. Our counselors work closely with students, families, faculty, and outside professionals to help students navigate challenges, make informed decisions, and develop the skills needed for success in high school and beyond.

Academic Counseling

  • Individual academic guidance throughout all four years of high school

  • Peer tutoring referrals and access to instructor office hours

  • Referrals for educational testing

  • Information about academic enrichment and support opportunities

Personal Counseling

  • Crisis counseling

  • Grief counseling

  • Support with family concerns

  • Social and interpersonal issues

  • Referrals for psychological and specialized support services

College & Career Counseling

  • Dedicated college and career planning throughout high school

  • One-on-one assistance with college applications and financial aid

  • College and career exploration

  • Annual College Fair 

  • In-person college reps on campus to meet with students 

  • Dedicated school-day PSAT administration for 10th- and 11th-grade students

Educational Presentations for Students & Parents

  • Counselor-in-the-Classroom college advising

  • Group guidance activities and presentations

  • College and career planning workshops

  • Parent education and evening programs

In all counseling services, counselors follow the professional and legal guidelines established for the counseling profession, including confidentiality and mandated reporting requirements when applicable.
