The Bruin Difference Begins With You
At St. Patrick-St. Vincent Catholic High School, the Bruin Spirit Fundraiser is more than a fundraiser. It is an investment in our students and in the future of Catholic education at SPSV.
Tuition covers a significant portion of the cost of an SPSV education, but it does not cover the full cost of educating each student. The Bruin Spirit Fundraiser helps bridge that gap, allowing SPSV to continue investing in the academic, spiritual, athletic, artistic, and co-curricular experiences that form the whole student while helping keep tuition as accessible as possible for our families.
2026 Bruin Spirit Fundraiser
Fundraiser Dates: August 27 through October 5, 2026
Family Fundraising Requirement: $500 per student
Drawing: October 5, 2026
Every SPSV student participates in the Bruin Spirit Fundraiser with a $500 fundraising requirement. Students and families can meet the requirement by sharing their individual BetterWorld fundraising page with family members, friends, alumni, coworkers, and other supporters.
Families who prefer not to fundraise may fulfill the requirement through a $500 tax-deductible contribution to SPSV.
How It Works
Each student has an individual fundraising page through BetterWorld. Students can share their page through text, email, social media, and other personal networks.
Supporters may contribute at any level. Contributions also provide entries into the Bruin Spirit drawing:
- $20 = 1 entry
- $100 = 5 entries
- $500 = 25 entries
Every contribution brings a student closer to completing their $500 requirement while supporting the entire SPSV community.
Win $2,500
On October 5, SPSV will select the winning Bruin Spirit entry.
The winning donor receives $2,500 cash.
And there is something special for the student connected to that winning entry:
The student receives a $2,500 SPSV tuition credit.
That means every student has an additional reason to share their page and invite others to support SPSV.
Where Your Support Goes
Funds raised through the Bruin Spirit Fundraiser directly support the SPSV educational experience. Fundraising helps us continue providing opportunities in academics, faith formation, athletics, the arts, student leadership, campus ministry, service, and other student programs.
For more than 155 years, SPSV has served Vallejo and the surrounding community through a Catholic education rooted in faith, academic excellence, service, character, and community.
