Senior Parent Meeting

Wednesday, October 7, 2026 | 6:30–8:00 PM

Junior and Senior parents are invited to join us for an important meeting to help families prepare for the remainder of the school year and upcoming senior-year milestones.

We will share important information and upcoming deadlines, so we strongly encourage all Junior and Senior parents to attend.


October 14: Senior College Application & Essay Day

No School for Seniors

Although the Class of 2027 has no school on Wednesday, October 14, seniors are encouraged to use the day to make meaningful progress on the college application process.

Students may use the day to:

  • Complete college applications with Mr. Delgado in C-11

  • Receive help with college essays and personal statements from Mrs. Van Wert and Mrs. Ruszel in C-7 and C-8

  • Visit local college campuses

  • Complete outstanding application requirements

Senior College Application Workshop

10:00 AM–12:00 PM | C-11

Students who want help completing their college applications can work with Mr. Delgado during the workshop.

Senior College Essay Workshop

10:00 AM–12:00 PM | C-7 and C-8

Students who want help developing or improving their college essays can work with Mrs. Van Wert and Mrs. Ruszel.

The workshop is highly recommended for students who need assistance with:

  • The four UC Personal Insight Questions (PIQs)

  • The Common Application personal essay

  • Essays for private universities

Students attending the essay workshop are strongly encouraged to bring a printed rough draft of their essay or essays so teachers can provide specific feedback and support.

Casual dress is permitted.

Senior Portrait Make-Up Day

Wednesday, October 14, 2026 | On Campus

The Senior Portrait Make-Up Day will take place on campus on Wednesday, October 14.

Families must schedule their portrait appointment in advance directly through CADY.

How to Schedule Your Appointment

  1. Visit CADY.com and log in to your account.

  2. Go to your Dashboard and select the Events tab.

  3. Find the original portrait session and select Schedule Retakes.

  4. Select October 14, 2026, for the on-campus make-up session.

  5. Choose an available appointment time.

Please schedule your appointment in advance to ensure availability.


College Application Resources

Seniors should continue working closely with the Counseling Department throughout the college application process. Pay close attention to application deadlines, scholarship opportunities, financial aid requirements, and requests for transcripts or recommendations.

Additional senior information, including graduation, Grad Night, yearbook, Jostens, Christian Service requirements, and other Class of 2027 activities, will be added to this page as it becomes available.
