DEFINITIONS OF “ISOLATION” AND “QUARANTINE”
Per the CDPH, isolation “separates those infected with a contagious disease from people who are not infected.” According to the CDPH, quarantine “restricts the movement of persons who were exposed to a contagious disease in case they become infected.”
Community members in isolation or quarantine must stay away from campus, as well as all school-sponsored events regardless of where they are being held.
