Did you know that you can support SPSV just by shopping on Amazon?

Amazon Smile is a program where you can redirect 0.5% of what you spend on the Amazon website to the charity of your choice. You are not giving anything extra; you are just telling Amazon what to do with the money you've already spent.

There are just a few easy steps to follow on the Amazon mobile app:

  • Check that you have the latest version of the Amazon app.
  • Open the Amazon Shopping app on your device and log in.
  • Go into the main menu of the Amazon Shopping app and tap into ‘Settings’.

  • Tap ‘AmazonSmile’ and follow the on-screen instructions to turn Amazon Smile on.

  • Enter "Diocese of Sacramento Education Welfare Corp. St. Patrick St. Vincent" as the charity you are supporting and click "Turn on AmazonSmile."

  • Click "Get Started"

  • Click "Next"
  • Click "Turn on AmazonSmile"

There are even fewer steps on desktop:

  • CLICK HERE to redirect to the Amazon Smile home page or click on the Banner in the Side Menu. Then select "Start Shopping."

  • Sign in to your account.

  • Once you've signed on, you should be good to go. The trick with the desktop version is this: You'll always need to go to

Have any questions or need helping setting up Amazon Smile? Please email If everyone in the Bruin Family who has an Amazon account signs up to do this, the 0.5% donation for every purchase made will add up quickly. Example: The average American spends about $1500 a year on Amazon. That would equate to a $7.50 donation to SPSV per account. If we had 300 accounts signed up, that would be $2,250 donated to SPSV. No extra cost to you; just Amazon donating back because you signed up.
