Welcome to St. Patrick-St. Vincent Catholic High School’s website. We are so glad that you are considering our community of learning and service. We are even more grateful if you are already part of it and here to see what’s new at the school.

St. Patrick–St. Vincent has been serving Solano County for almost 150 years. The school mission is to challenge students to seek truth, to share their gifts with others and to be creative, complex thinkers, compassionate individuals, and responsible citizens.

Not only does our student body reflect the rich diversity of the Vallejo area we serve, the school also consciously seeks out young people from many backgrounds and bridges the gaps that can make an education difficult to sustain.

St. Patrick–St. Vincent Catholic High School has a long history and a strong Catholic identity, but diversity and inclusiveness are important parts of our Christian message. Our home is the Diocese of Sacramento, and we are anchored in the traditions of the Dominican Sisters and the Congregation of Christian Brothers, who founded the two schools that became St. Patrick–St. Vincent.

So you will find that SPSV is a Catholic school. You will have the opportunity to learn about Catholic theology and our social and moral teachings and to participate in Catholic liturgy and prayer. But we hope also to enrich the lives of non-Catholic students with new experiences in spirituality, community, and social justice, as these students in turn enrich our school.

Some students will enter with a strong scholastic history; others will need help to catch up academically and learn more effective study skills. All should draw on the knowledge and strength of our teachers, guidance counselors, and staff.

SPSV supports both a large roster of athletic teams and a wide variety of school clubs that allow students to dig more deeply into a favorite subject among peers with a similar interest. We consider these groups more than a break from academic classes; they deepen and complete a high school education. I encourage students to join a club that aligns with their interests.
